Next Steps in 2005

While the initial project was conducted in Israel’s Bedouin community, in 2005 it is being expanded to include Israeli (Jewish), Palestinian and Jordanian schools.  As the project grows, university students from all over the region will help by collaborating in this research and community health promotion initiative. Students involved in various disciplines including medicine, health, social work and education will be given an opportunity to learn youth engagement skills and run groups as part of their academic program. On an annual basis, these students will meet to share their research experiences and collaborate on improving the Youth Voices EIPARS process. A related aim is to build cross-border cooperation and networks for future collaboration.
